Chelsea continue their resurgence with yet another victory, as the Blues picked up three points away against Nottingham Forest.

It was a bright start at the City Ground, as Mykhailo Mudryk combined well with Cole Palmer to score Chelsea’s opening goal inside 8 minutes.

Chelsea’s lead didn’t last long as Nottingham Forest equalised after 8 minutes. The first-half ended 1-1.

The hosts started the second-half brightly, with former Blue Callum Hudson-Odoi pressing down their left flank. Hudson-Odoi made it 2-1 for Forest as he scored an impressive strike past Djordje Petrovic in the 74th minute.

Chelsea started to press after a couple of changes by Mauricio Pochettino. Raheem Sterling who came on as a sub scored the leveller in the 80th minute, with fellow sub Reece James crossing a perfect ball for Nicolas Jackson to head home two minutes later.

At the end, Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest 3-2, to make it three consecutive Premier League wins for the first time this season.

Chelsea are level on points with Newcastle who are 6th, with Chelsea only behind on goal difference.

The fight for Chelsea to at least make an Europa League finish and end the season strongly is still on.
