Football pundit and former Premier League star Darren Bent, has revealed his admiration for Cole Palmer.

Palmer has been a revelation for Chelsea this season following a £42.5million move from Manchester City last summer.

Bent has admitted Chelsea is perfect for Palmer, and has also been stunned by the 22-year-old’s ability to go past players.

Palmer doesn’t seem so quick at first glance, but he has a sudden turn of pace and acceleration that gets opponents confused.

“For Cole Palmer to go to Chelsea and do this and impact the way he has done, he looks incredible,” Bent told talkSPORT.

“He’s quicker than I thought as well because when he picks up the ball and pops it off for a little one-two, my goodness, when he puts his foot down he glides past people.

“I think he’s at the perfect club.”
