Chelsea star Cole Palmer has won both the Chelsea Player of the Season and the Players’ Player of the Season awards.

It’s not a surprise to anyone, as Cole Palmer has been Chelsea’s best player this season.

The attacking midfielder has contributed 24 goals and 11 assists in all competitions this term.

Alfie Gilchrist won the Men’s Academy Player of the Year, having grown into the first team this season with encouraging performances.

Conor Gallagher shared the PFA Community Champion award with Chelsea Women goalkeeper Zecira Musovic for their contributions to the Chelsea Foundation.

Given the England international couldn’t vote for himself, Cole Palmer has revealed that he voted for Malo Gusto to win Chelsea Players’ Player of the Year.

Speaking with the club’s social media team shortly after the ceremony, Cole Palmer said: “It’s been a dream season, a debut season for me, so thank you to the manager, the staff, the players and, of course, the fans.

“I just came to play, showcase my abilities, my talent to the fans. But it has gone amazing, probably better than I imagined so, yeah, I’m buzzing.”

Asked who he voted for to win the Players’ Player of the Year, Palmer responded: “I voted for Malo Gusto.

“I love playing with him on the right and he’s been amazing this season when he’s played, so that’s why I voted for him.”
