Jason Cundy has hailed Marc Cucurella for his performances this season.

Signed for around £60m, Cucurella struggled at Chelsea last season, and was nearly sold off last summer.

The Chelsea defender has been in much better form this season, and has been one of the team’s best players in recent games.

Cucurella has played as an inverted left-back in recent games, and he has been tremendous in that role.

Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy, has hailed Cucurella as a revelation.

“He’s been excellent, what a revelation,” Cundy told Chelsea’s official app.

“Cucurella, there’s a bravery about him, there’s an energy about him.

“Whatever you think he doesn’t seem to give up, there seems to be a real purpose about his game.”
