Cole Palmer’s remarkable debut season at Chelsea continued during the 5-0 victory over West Ham on Sunday, as he matched more records.

The English midfielder was quick off the mark, scoring after just 15 minutes at Stamford Bridge, followed by goals from Conor Gallagher and Noni Madueke before the interval.

Nicolas Jackson added two more goals in the second half, securing a significant victory as Chelsea pursues a spot in European competition.

Palmer’s goal brought his Premier League tally to 21, and with nine assists, he’s the second player to reach 30 goal contributions in his debut season at Chelsea.

The only other player to achieve this was Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with 32 (23 goals and nine assists) during the 2000/01 season. With three games remaining, Palmer has a chance to surpass this record.

Additionally, the 21-year-old has equaled the achievements of Chelsea legends Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, who each scored 16 Premier League home goals in a single season.

Palmer’s recent goal ties him with this record, and he will have one last game at Stamford Bridge against Bournemouth to potentially set a new record.
