Chelsea are fighting for a Europa League finish, but it’s quite a dicey one, as Manchester United could come in the way.
Fifth place is out of reach for Chelsea, as the Blues are targeting sixth spot.
Two Europa League spots are on the line in the English Premier League. The first one goes to the team finishing fifth in the league standings, while the second Europa League spot is for the winners of the FA Cup. If Manchester City wins the cup, then the spot goes to the team in sixth place in the league. So, Chelsea must hope Manchester City beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final.
Meanwhile, Marc Cucurella has vowed that Chelsea will do all they can to win all their games, and at least finish in sixth.
Marc Cucurella said ahead of Chelsea vs West Ham: “We need to keep this momentum, we need to start playing like this more regularly, not winning and then losing. We need to show every week, in every game, we are at this level, and then we can do good things.”
“On Thursday we kept that level and we need to continue. We have to continue in this way, with this personality and this energy. If we play for each other, fight for each other and stay at this level, I think we have a good chance to finish in Europe.
“Our objective now is to win the four games. We need to have this last effort. It is in our hands. We have four games left and we need to win these four games and then we will see the table.”
I believe u cucu.
