As it stands, Manchester City and Arsenal are battling to win the Premier League this season.

Former Chelsea defender William Gallas believes Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk will be a good fit at Arsenal.

Chelsea beat Arsenal to the signing of Mudryk, but the Ukrainian has failed to convince at Chelsea since his £89m move.

However, William Gallas is convinced that Mudryk has what it takes to spark an Arsenal title victory.

“I know that Emmanuel Petit spoke about Mykhailo Mudryk potentially joining Arsenal, as Mikel Arteta likes him,” Gallas told Gambling Zone.

“He would be a good fit for Arsenal, with his speed and quality – that’s why Arteta likes him and wanted him in the first place.

“Before he signed for Chelsea, Arsenal nearly signed him but he changed his mind and you cannot forget that.

“I’ve said before that Arsenal will win the title next year, not this year, and if they sign Mudryk that could help them.”
