It has been a difficult year for Chelsea. The Blues are currently 9th in the Premier League, and are set to go two consecutive seasons without finishing in a Champions League place.
For Mauricio Pochettino, he has been under pressure since the start of the campaign, as Chelsea have been so inconsistent.
Nevertheless, former Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has backed Pochettino to come good at Chelsea.
Antonio Rudiger has told the club to give Pochettino more time.
Rudiger, who left Chelsea for Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer of 2022, told Sky Sports News: “Of course, it’s a tough season because there’s a lot of new players, a new coach, everything new.
“So I just hope the coach the time to form his team.
“And I hope the players step up to the cause because Chelsea is about silverware. To see them not winning anything is tough.
“But they’re trying their best because it’s a very young team, so I’m looking forward to the future to see them compete again.”
