Cole Palmer hasn’t just been Chelsea’s best player this season, the 21-year-old has also been one of the best players in the Premier League this season.
Despite Chelsea being 9th in the Premier League, Palmer has stood out with his performances, and has scored 20 league goals already this term.
However, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that an illness could keep Palmer out of Tuesday’s game against Arsenal at the Emirates.
Palmer is yet to return to training in since the side’s disappointing cup defeat against Manchester City on Saturday.
Mauricio Pochettino said Cole Palmer may be unable to return in time for the London derby, but the final decision will be made tomorrow.
Quizzed on Palmer’s chances of featuring in Tuesday’s London derby, the Chelsea head coach told reporters: “We will see tomorrow. We will assess him in the morning.
“Today, no I don’t believe he can be involved but we will assess him tomorrow.
“Even if he is good tomorrow, maybe he’s not in a condition to play. Hopefully he can recover as soon as possible.”
I pray for his quick recovery
