Chelsea youngster Lewis Hall is now set to become a Newcastle player.
The Blues academy product joined Newcastle on loan last summer, with the option for a permanent deal.
After Newcastle’s 4-0 win over Tottenham, Newcastle United have now achieved all conditions to trigger Lewis Hall’s £28 million permanent move to the club.
Newcastle had to finish 14th or above in the Premier League this season, and Lewis Hall had to make 30 matchday squads or more for the move to become permanent.
Both boxes are now ticked for Hall and Newcastle, and the Chelsea academy product will most definitely be a Newcastle player next season.
“I am here now as a Newcastle player and I really enjoy it,” Hall said after their game against Spurs.
“The future looks really good for the club with so many young and talented players. It is going in the right direction.”
Hall made 12 senior appearances for Chelsea before being going to Newcastle.
