Jose Mourinho had a successful time as Chelsea manager over two stints.
The legendary Portuguese was very famous for using the ‘park the bus’ tactics in certain games against possession-based teams.
However, current Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino, has insisted he won’t use such tactics at Chelsea.
Pochettino is adamant that he would he’d prefer to set his team in an attacking way.
Asked if he’d ever ‘park the bus’, Pochettino said: “No (laughs). I don’t want to be philosophical about that.
“You translate to the players, the philosophy and who you are. It is impossible for us to go and park the bus.”
Meanwhile, Pochettino has revealed in a previous interview that it’ll take time for his team to understand each as a unit.
“It is a new team with profiles in the squad that we are learning,” Mauricio Pochettino said after his side were held to a 2-2 draw with bottom of the table Sheffield United last Sunday.
“The combination sometimes, that is why the process always takes time. It’s not a magic thing. It’s a project, a three or five-year process to build a team.”
