Chelsea’s story has been same all season long – a tale of progress and decline, as inconsistencies have been a major worry for the Blues fans.
Persistent injury problems haven’t helped Chelsea, with the Blues currently 9th in the league.
Mauricio Pochettino has admitted Chelsea are ‘suffering’, and he hopes his squad will be able to ‘take the positives’ out of the situation, with the absence of key players opening up opportunities for squad players and youngsters from the academy.
The Argentine has been booed even by his own fans, and he admits people are waiting to talk.
“It’s true that it’s a special season for us because we are suffering a lot,” Pochettino said of his Chelsea team.
“People are waiting for me to talk in the press conference because they know they are going to talk about that. We need to accept the reality and be positive with the players we have.
“Yes, we need to accept the situation and be positive. If something happens, we need to take the positives, having the possibility to train with the young guys from the academy.”
