Chelsea played out a 2-2 draw with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday.
Sheffield’s second goal came after a cross caused havoc in the Blues’ box, which they failed to properly clear.
Just before the goal, Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino had brought in Benoit Badiashile for Marc Cucurella to shore up the defence.
Pundit Andy Jacobs has now criticised Benoit Badiashile for not preventing the goal — and also criticised Pochettino for bringing him on in stoppage time.
“The idea of bringing on Badiashile to shore it up,” Jacobs said on Talksport.
“The only way Sheffield United were going to score was to lump it into the box at that stage.
“He comes on, honestly, he’s got the vertical leap of an upright piano. He missed two headers and they scored, what was the point in bringing him on? Hopeless really.”
