Danny Drinkwater

Cheapest of all the aforementioned signings, but his signing was the worst of them. He signed for £35m from Leicester in 2017, where he had a formidable partnership with N’Golo Kante as Leicester City went on to win the Premier League in 2016.
Drinkwater forgot about football while at Chelsea, caused problems everywhere he went on loan and just lost relevance.
These players were brought in with high expectations due to their significant transfer fees, and while some have had moments of success, others did not convince with their performance at all.
The jury is yet to be out on Mykhailo Mudryk, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo. Time will tell if we’d regret or appreciate these signings.
