Marcos Alonso enjoyed a fine six-year period with Chelsea after signing from Fiorentina in 2016 for a fee of around £24m.

The Spaniard was known for his prowess as an attacking left wing-back, especially under Antonio Conte.

The Spain international joined Barca from Chelsea in 2022, as Chelsea let go of so many experienced players.

Alonso appeared regularly in his first campaign at Barcelona, making 37 appearances across all competitions and winning the La Liga in the process.

Alonso, now 33 has endured an injury-hit second season, as he suffered a back problem in December and has not made a La Liga appearance since October.

Marcos Alonso is now set to leave Barcelona on a free transfer at the end of the season after two years with Barca.

Marcos Alonso was successful at his time at Chelsea, as he made 212 appearances, scoring 29 goals, and winning the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup.
