Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he and his team are ready for the Burnley challenge.
This is Chelsea’s first game after the international break, and it’s one the Blues are expected to win.
Chelsea are expected to beat the relegation-threatened side, but Mauricio Pochettino has said it won’t be an easy game against Burnley.
He stated: “It’s always going to be difficult. I think it’s a team that plays very free, they feel freedom to play. They run a lot, they are a very physical team with good players, good young players.
“It is going to be tough. For us, it’s always tough because we need to be in a different place. We need to win, we need to perform well. Always in the Premier League you are never going to find an easy game. Burnley are a very exciting team to watch. It is going to be difficult.”
On Burnley boss Vincent Kompany, he added: “I think he is doing well. He was great last season in the Championship. We need to see that his job is amazing, he is doing fantastic.
“How we measure the job, it’s not only about the results; it’s about the process, the performance and see the potential of the team. He is doing a fantastic job, him and his coaching staff.”
