Chelsea are currently without a shirt sponsor for the 2024-25 season.

The club had earlier signed a deal with Infinite Athlete for the current season (2023-2024) only, highlighting the temporary nature of their sponsorship arrangements as they seek a more permanent solution.

However, Chelsea are now deep in negotiations with Riyadh Air to become their shirt sponsor from the next season.

The deal with Riyadh Air regarding a potential shirt sponsorship deal is expected to take place from 2024-2025 season onward. These talks are part of Chelsea’s ongoing efforts to find a new major sponsor after their previous agreement with Three ended.

The club is looking to secure a deal that would be beneficial for both the men’s and women’s teams. Riyadh Air, owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which also owns Newcastle United and sponsors Atletico Madrid, has not commenced flight operations yet but plans to do so in 2025.

Chelsea’s negotiations with Riyadh Air are in line with their strategy to explore various options to boost commercial revenue.

According to Saudi reporter Nawaf Oga, Chelsea are ‘progressing’ in negotiations with Riyadh Air to become their shirt sponsor from the next season.

The current deal with Infinite Athlete brings Chelsea ₤40m in a year. It’s not clear how much they are set to earn from any new deal.
