Bayern Munich have shown interest in Ian Maatsen, the young and talented full-back currently playing for Borussia Dortmund.

With Alphonso Davies expected to complete a move to Real Madrid in the coming summer, Bayern Munich are no targeting Ian Maatsen as a replacement.

AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez is viewed as an ideal replacement for Alphonso Davies, but Hernandez doesn’t seem interested in a move to Bayern.

Bayern are now pushing for Ian Maatsen. At just 22 years of age, Maatsen has attracted attention from several top clubs across Europe, with Bayern Munich being the latest to join the list of his admirers.

Maatsen, known for his versatility, pace, and defensive capabilities, could offer Bayern a long-term solution on the flanks, fitting perfectly into the club’s dynamic playing style.

This interest from such a prestigious club as Bayern Munich underscores Maatsen’s potential and the impact he’s already had in his early career.

Maatsen has been very impressive at Dortmund so far, playing 12 games and bagging two assists and a goal.

Maatsen didn’t have much playing time under Mauricio Pochettino, which led to him leaving the club eventually.
