Carney Chukwuemeka is living his dream at Chelsea. The 20-year-old who was signed from Aston Villa in 2022 is a Chelsea fan.

Signed as an 18-year-old, Chukwuemeka is expected to have a huge career at Stamford Bridge.

The youngster scored Chelsea’s crucial third goal, as the Blues beat Leicester City 4-2 in the FA Cup quarter-final. His goal sent Chelsea through to the semi-final at Wembley.

Chukwuemeka has revealed that scoring a goal that took Chelsea to Wembley was especially meaningful to him as someone who grew up a Blues fan.

“We went into this season wanting to win trophies and play in finals,” he said, as per Chelsea’s official website.

“So it’s a massive opportunity for us as a young squad. Another opportunity to play at Wembley, and hopefully we get to the final.

“It’s amazing for me. I missed the Carabao Cup final due to injury so to get the chance to play at Wembley is the stuff of dreams for me.

“It’s something I dreamt about as a kid as I’m a Chelsea fan, so I can’t wait.”

Chukwuemeka was called up to play for the England U21’s, and suffered another injury. We only hope he won’t be out for long.
