Conor Gallagher has been the engine room of the Chelsea midfield this season.

The England international could easily be called Mr.  Available, as he’s always available for games.

No Chelsea player has played more games than Gallagher this season (38). In total, Gallagher has made 34 starts and four substitute outings in all competitions during 2023-24, only missing one Premier League game through suspension.

The England star has weighed in with four goals and seven assists.

Gallagher has been a useful asset for Mauricio Pochettino, and is also versatile in the midfield positions.

No injuries, always puts a fight, plays with so much energy – these are some characteristics of Conor Gallagher.

Meanwhile, Finance football expert Stefan Borson has told Chelsea to sell some homegrown players if they want to come clean before FFP.

According to Borson, Chelsea must sell the trio of Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah and Armando Broja.

When asked how Chelsea can financially cope without European football, Borson replied: “Really, they have to find buyers for Trevoh Chalobah for £20m, Armando Broja for £40m, and Conor Gallagher for £50m.

“It’s those sort of deals that need to be done. And by the way, they all need to be done by June 30. That, as we know, is articulated within the Forest decision.

“There’s a whole conversation about how hard it is to sell players in the period before June. The Premier League actually suggested that more or less that it was impossible.”

Conor Gallagher is definitely one name that Blues fans won’t want to let go of.
