Chelsea duo Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke were both called up for England U21’s European qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg.

The Chelsea duo scored crucial goals against Leicester City, as Chelsea beat Leicester City 4-2 to book a place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Noni Madueke also scored a goal, as England U21 beat Azerbaijan 5-1.

The 22-year-old winger tapped the ball in as his side thrashed Azerbaijan U21 5-1 away from home.

Carney Chukwuemeka was expected to be in the squad, but got dropped last minute due to a knock.

Chukwuemeka has had a season filled with injury problems, and that’s his fifth injury this season already.

Chukwuemeka would have progressed a lot this season if not for persistent injury problems. We hope he recovers soon enough.
