Eden Hazard has promised Chelsea fans that he won’t look like ‘Peppa Pig’ as he makes a return to Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea legend quit from playing last October, after a four-year injury-hit spell with Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard is set for a return to Stamford Bridge where he will line up for Unicef’s World XI against an England team managed by former Chelsea team-mate Frank Lampard on June 9.
At a ground where he was known for being one of the best in the world, pride is at stake in this charity match for Eden Hazard. It’s one the Belgian is however ready to live up to.
Hazard has said he has been keeping fit nevertheless.
Hazard told The Standard: “I don’t want to look like Peppa Pig!
“I play tennis, padel, run a bit, I play football with my friends and stay active.”
Hazard has also admitted that he miss playing football, even though he is enjoying his retirement.
The former Chelsea hero said of his post-playing days: “I enjoy it a lot.
“I miss my football a bit, especially being with the lads in the dressing room, but I can do what I want now.”
