According to reports, the Chelsea owners have made a decision on Raheem Sterling.
The Blues have seen big players leave in the Todd Boehly era – as the likes of Jorginho, Kalidou Koulibaly, Kai Harvetz, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and a host of senior players have all left the club in a massive clear-out.
Chelsea star Raheem Sterling is edging towards being the latest senior player to leave Stamford Bridge.
Sterling is currently the team’s best paid player, with wages of £325k per week. However, the England international has failed to justify his star status at the club.
The England international has seen his stock drop in recent months, and Chelsea fans have also turned on the 29-year-old in recent games.
Sterling’s potential involvement at Euro 2024 is becoming less likely, after being left out of the Three Lions’ squad for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.
It’s yet to been where Sterling will play next, as his wages may ward off interest from European clubs. A move to Saudi Arabia may be on the card, but it’s yet to be seen whether Sterling will want that move at this stage of his career, after turning down a move last summer.
