Danny Murphy has hailed Chelsea forward, Mykhailo Mudryk as a star, who has all it takes to be a successful player.
Mykhailo Mudryk was involved in Chelsea’s 3-2 victory against Newcastle United on Monday night, scoring the Blues’ third goal, despite coming on in the final 20 minutes.
It was another impressive outing for the 23-year-old Ukrainian, who appears to have regained form in Chelsea colours, after scoring in the 3-2 win against Leeds in the FA Cup more than a week ago.
“He’s been through a hell of a journey the lad coming into this place for huge money with high expectations,” Murphy told talkSPORT. “He’s struggled let’s be honest.
“But that little cameo [against Newcastle] shows you what he’s about. I think some fans thought somebody had tricked them, but he has got ability.
“We saw it the first time he got on the pitch for them at Anfield and that there we saw all his attributes.
“The quick feet, the amazing pace, and even that little bit of composure for the goal we haven’t seen that.
“That could be a brilliant springboard for him. I know it’s too little too late this season, but we’re talking the next three or four years with him.”
