Axel Disasi has hailed Chelsea’s team spirit, following the recent win against Newcastle United.
The defender was in the starting XI, as the Blues beat Eddie Howe’s men 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.
Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk, all scored for Chelsea, who are now just a point behind 10th placed Newcastle.
Axel Disasi, who turned 26 on Monday, later said of the performance from him and his teammates: “In training, we work like this with Marc, Trev and Malo.
“We were prepared to play well together and I think it was good together. We need to improve again, but I think we are on the right way.
“It is the perfect birthday for me. The team played well.
“We stayed together until the end and I’m really happy after this game and now I will enjoy it with my family.”
