Chelsea right-back, Malo Gusto has shared his thoughts on joining the Blues.

The 20-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from French side, Lyon last summer.

With seven assists to his name already, Malo Gusto has become a popular figure among the fans, and he says he’s delighted to have made the decision to join Chelsea.

He told Chelsea official website: “When I came to Chelsea, I already knew that it was a good chance for me to try and do my best.

“When I had the chance, I knew I had to take it and show what I can do on the pitch. I just try to help the team as much as I can.

“I love London, I love this city. When I came here it was the first thing I looked at. London is a great city and Chelsea is a great area around the stadium. That’s why I’m very happy to be here.

“My dad watched Chelsea a lot when I was young and when he knew that I could sign for the club, he was very happy and proud. Now I’m very proud to speak about this with my dad.

“I have to say to myself that I am at Chelsea and I have a big chance to improve, to show my quality and just remember my chance – work hard every day, stay focused on everything and after, maybe I can become a great player.”
