Jamie Carragher has made his pick of who the better football manager is between Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti.
The two coaches have done incredibly well for the sport, and have achieved so much in terms of success with the clubs they have managed so far.
Any true Chelsea fan would know that both of them have also managed at Stamford Bridge, and were successful during their times in West London.
While with the Blues, Mourinho won the Premier League title (x3), the FA Cup (x1), and the Carabao Cup (x3), albeit in two stints. The 61-year-old also won the UEFA Champions League as coach of FC Porto and Inter Milan.
Ancelotti won the Premier League (x1) with Chelsea, as well as the FA Cup before he was fired by then owner, Roman Abramovich.
Jose Mourinho has coached in Portugal, Spain, Italy and England so far, while Carlo Ancelotti has managed clubs in Spain, England, Italy, France, and Germany.
There is quite very little to separate the two top coaches, who are undoubtedly among the best in the world right now, but when asked to pick one, former Liverpool defender, Carragher decided to go for Mourinho.
Carragher told Sky Sports: “Carlo is my mate he used to live around the corner from me. Ancelotti is on four Champions Leagues now…. For what Jose did at Porto and winning it at Inter Milan, who very rarely win the Champions League, I’m going to go with Jose.”
Ancelotti is currently in charge of the Real Madrid men’s team, and is aiming to win the La Liga title with them again. Meanwhile, Mourinho is without a job at the moment after losing his job as AS Roma head coach.
