Lukaku speaks up on Chelsea future after scoring for Roma on Thursday night

Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku is choosing to stay coy regarding his future at Stamford Bridge.

The 30-year-old is currently on a season-long loan at AS Roma.

Lukaku has impressed with the Serie A club, and was on target for them, as they thrashed Brighton 4-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night, to make it 18 goals across all competitions.

After the game, Romelu Lukaku was asked to comment on where he sees himself at the end of the season, and the Chelsea loanee said: “I don’t want to cause any controversy in England, I have to be intelligent about it.”

He added: “It was a different experience, but the fans love me. I’m doing my best to help the club.”

Lukaku is expected to be sold for a fee around £37m at the end of the season, although his next destination remains unclear.
