Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has revealed he had a profound love for Chelsea icon, Eden Hazard because of his footballing talent.
Hazard arrived at Chelsea in 2012, after the Blues were named winners of the UEFA Champions League in the 2011-12 campaign.
The 33-year-old spent seven seasons at Stamford Bridge, winning lots of trophies in that time, including the Europa League, the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the EFL Cup.
Hazard eventually moved to Real Madrid in 2019, where he also lifted numerous titles, even though injuries never allowed him be the same player he was while in England.
“One of the most that I admired in this league, Eden Hazard was just a joke,” Thierry Henry told Sky Sports on YouTube while speaking about Eden Hazard.
“He can take the ball from his house and just arrive at the Bridge and score, running past everybody. Tactics have nothing to do with that. He was a joy to watch.”
Hazard left football completely last year. He was just 32 at the time, but it’s beautiful to know that his legacy continues to live on, despite his unfortunate time in Spain.
