Mykhailo Mudryk was left devastated after his much talked-about move to Arsenal fell through, according to a report by The Athletic.
Mudryk seemed destined to move to the Emirates last January, but after a few failed bids from Arsenal, Chelsea swooped in with an £89m offer to Shakhtar Donetsk, which was immediately accepted.
The report however claims that Mudryk didn’t exactly like the idea of playing for the Blues because he believes his game is better-suited to that of Arsenal.
The report further claims that Arsenal chief, Edu, and their manager, Mikel Arteta remain interested in the Ukrainian, and wouldn’t mind trying to sign him again if Chelsea make him available for sale.
Mudryk has struggled for form since join Chelsea from Shakhtar, but recently he’s been showing that with regular game time, that could become a thing of the past.
