Chelsea are expected to pay a huge fee for Brighton Head of recruitment, Sam Jewell, according to a new report from The Sun.
Jewell is set to sign for Chelsea, and is currently on gardening leave, as his time with the Seagulls comes to an end.
However, in order to get the deal to actually happen, Chelsea must pay Brighton a compensation fee that runs into ‘six figures’, says the report.
Son of former Premier League boss, Paul Jewell, Sam, has been with Brighton as a scout for a while now.
