Nicolas Jackson has revealed he was surprised by Brentford’s response in the second half and felt it was a ‘good point’ for Chelsea.
“I was surprised [in the second half] because they came with different intentions to win,” Nicolas Jackson said.
“When they scored a lot of players were nervous but later we scored one and we wanted to win the game. Unfortunately we drew but it’s a good point.”
“I was very happy [with the goal] because there was a chance I missed but I kept going and believed I could score for the team and make the team win,” Nicolas Jackson added.
“Obviously I scored and then we drew so thank God we did not lose it.
“We move forward and try to win the next games.”
