Chelsea fans called for Mauricio Pochettino to be sacked as Chelsea boss and replaced with Jose Mourinho during the 2-2 draw against Brentford.

Responding to the chants by Chelsea fans, Mauricio Pochettino said: “I’ve been told but I didn’t hear to be honest. I don’t know. I need to believe.

“I didn’t hear but it’s normal. We were losing the game 2-1 and it’s about to express their frustration. I am one of the responsible [ones]. I am the head coach.”

On his relationship with Chelsea fans, Pochettino added: “I am not worried. We need to accept this relationship. Someone asked me if I feel the love for the fans, no.

“We need to build our relationship between the coaching staff, the coach and the fans. You build your relationship by winning games.”
