Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has explained why Chelsea could only manage a 2-2 draw against Brentford on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino said: “45 minutes we were very good, we controlled the game. It was about to keep pushing and playing the same way.

“They increased their level. We were not consistent and needed to defend better. When we conceded it changed the game. We were the better side but we need to score in key moments, have some luck and defend better.

“After six days, where we competed in three tough games, I think the effort was massive.”

Chelsea took the lead through Nicolas Jackson in the 35th minute. Rasmussen equalised for Brentford in the 50th minute before Wissa gave Brentford the lead in the 67th minute. Axel Disasi then equalised for Chelsea in the 83rd minute.

As at now Chelsea is doing better than before sacking of a coach is not a solution by now but what we need is to buy two stars top man and attacking middle fielder that’s the solution
