Chelsea fans send message to Nicolas Jackson after dribbling himself with his step-over footwork

Chelsea fans and other football fans have taken to social media to troll Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson after his failed step-overs against Brentford.

Jackson killed off a brilliant chance when he had an opportunity to lay a pass for Ben Chilwell that could have led to a goal. The 22-year-old instead tried to do a step-over, and ended up confusing himself and his teammates.

Fans on social media have slammed Jackson for his attempt, with some urging the Blues forward to ‘try another sport.’

One fan wrote on X: ‘Jackson you might as well try another sport bro lmao,’ with crying emojis.

Another said: ‘Jackson is legit a comedian’, while another mirrored those view by saying, ‘Nicolas Jackson is a clown’

A Manchester United fan added: ‘Chelsea fans really compared Nicholas Jackson to Drogba at the start of the season… Jesus Christ.’

Jackson also missed a big chance minutes later, when played  through on goal. He failed to find the back of the net after rounding Bees goalkeeper Mark Flekken before his effort was cleaned off the line.

He’d then score a powerful header to give Chelsea the lead in the 35th minute.

Jackson has battled criticisms for his performances since his £32million move from Villarreal last summer.

The Senegal international has scored eight goals so far in his Premier League debut season but have also missed a lot of clearcut chances.
