Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah was enjoying having a good career under former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.
It has gone downhill for Chalobah at Stamford Bridge, since Tuchel’s departure.
However, this season has even been worse off for Chalobah. The 24-year-old has been out of the team since getting injured in pre-season.
Trevoh Chalobah made a return to the team late in the game against Man City, and also replaced Ben Chilwell in extra-time during the Carabao Cup final.
Chalobah got his first start against Leeds United in the FA Cup after a long spell on the sidelines due to injury.
The Chelsea centre-back has revealed just how it was difficult for him being away.
“It’s been a difficult time for me,” Chalobah said after the game against Leeds.
“It is the first time in my career I’ve been out for this long and having setback after setback.
“I managed to keep myself focused on the road ahead and have managed to get here after a long few months of rehab.
“It was good to get 90 minutes, that was my first since pre-season in July. So I’m over the moon right now.”
