Chelsea’s defeat to Liverpool was a horrible one.

The Blues were the better side for most part of normal time, and had different scoring opportunities.

However, Chelsea flopped in extra time, as they looked unrecognisable and never put a foot right.

Liverpool, with a team full of youngsters in extra time, rode on Chelsea’s lacklustre extra-time display and made matters worse by scoring just two minutes before the end of the game, as the game looked geared for penalty shootout.

Enzo Fernandez was targeted by Liverpool fans as he went to collect his silver medal.

The World Cup winner looked dejected as he made the long walk to pick up his runners-up medal while being consoled by officials and dignitaries.

And as Fernandez followed Mykhailo Mudryk up the steps, one Liverpool fan attempted to further spoil his mood, yelling, “Enzo, unlucky lad!”, while laughing hysterically.

An angry Enzo Fernandez immediately turned in the direction the comment came from and aimed a death stare at the Liverpool supporter in question before being led away by Chelsea team-mate Jimi Tauriainen.
