Todd Boehly will be eager to see Chelsea win the Carabao Cup, as the Blues are yet to win any trophy under his watch.

Chelsea are fighting to win two trophies this season, and might be bringing one to Stamford Bridge this weekend, if all things go accordingly.

The Blues will have a chance to win the Carabao Cup when they take on Liverpool at the final at Wembley this Sunday.

Should Chelsea lift the trophy, they will be getting £100,000 from both the English Football League and the organisers of the tournament, but aside from that, the players are also set to receive an internal bonus.

According to the Daily Mail, Todd Boehly has set aside £500,000 as compensation for the players if they win the Carabao Cup.

This will amount to about £20,000 per player.

Meanwhile, there have been talks of the money being too small when compared to what some other clubs have paid their own players for winning the Cup in the past.

Manchester United, for example, parted with £1.6m for bonuses last season, paying every one of their players, £65,000 after winning the tournament at the expense of Newcastle.
