Thiago Silva has shared the latest on his injury recovery with his fans on social media.

The Brazilian missed Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Saturday due to an injury.

Thiago Silva limped off during last Monday’s 3-1 win at Crystal Palace, and was later declared ‘injured’ by Mauricio Pochettino.

The 39-year-old is a doubt for the upcoming Carabao Cup final with Liverpool, but if an image he shared on his Instagram account recently is anything to go by, he seems to be doing all he can to recover fully before the game at Wembley.

On Sunday morning, Thiago upload a photo of himself in a gym, just hours after the game with City.

Brazilian physiotherapist, Caio Mello, who appears to be helping with the defender’s recovery, was also tagged in the post.

Meanwhile, Liverpool also have a few injury concerns of their own ahead of the final.

The Red currently have Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dominik Szoboszlai, Allison, Darwin Nunez, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota all out with injuries.
