Eden Hazard is the latest sportsman to admit he’s a Cole Palmer fan boy.
The Belgian, while speaking during an episode of John Mikel Obi’s Obi One podcast, said he’s been impressed by Palmer’s contributions for Chelsea this season.
Hazard also weighed in on claims that some of the 21-year-old’s goals have come from the penalty spot, adding that it isn’t easy to bury one.
He said: “Cole Palmer is a top top player, the left-footed ones have some magic sometimes also.
“People say it’s easy to score penalties, okay go and shoot then, Mikel did you score penalty in your life?”
Despite this being his debut season as a Chelsea player, Palmer is without a doubt, a candidate for the club’s ‘Player of the season’ award, having helped the Blues with 12 goals and nine assists across all competitions.
It’s good to see Hazard still following Chelsea, and appreciating the talent of Cole Palmer.
