Chelsea plotting shock move for Bundesliga star with 29 goals this season

According to Football Insider, Chelsea are plotting a shock move for former Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Chelsea are plotting to sign the Bayern Munich striker this summer, just one year after he joined the German club from Tottenham Hotspur.

While Kane has impressed individually since his switch to the Allianz Arena last summer, with 29 goals and eight assists across all competitors, the Bundesliga side are having a disappointing campaign.

Bayern Munich are currently 8 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen after their 3-2 defeat at Bochum on Sunday.

The report adds Chelsea have now heard whispers that Harry Kane is not entirely happy in Germany and could be tempted to return to the Premier League as early as next summer.

Chelsea reportedly recognize that although the team is full of vitality and youthful enthusiasm, the team is missing expertise and experience in the forward positions.

The publication suggests that Kane is an ideal match for Mauricio Pochettino’s team, considering his comprehensive abilities and his excellence inside the penalty area.

Furthermore, the report adds that Chelsea are prepared to pay an amount equal to what Bayern spent to acquire the ex-Tottenham player last summer, in order to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
