Romelu Lukaku has refused to rule out a return to Chelsea at the end of the ongoing season.
The 30-year-old is currently playing for Italian giants, AS Roma, where he moved on a season-long loan last summer.
Romelu Lukaku is expected to be sold at the end of the season, after it was reported that Chelsea have already set a £35m price on his services, but the Belgian, who still has two years remaining on his deal, has insisted he will make a decision on his future later this year.
“Back to Chelsea or staying at Roma? It makes no sense to discuss that now,” the Belgian said in an interview, as quoted by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
“I’m focused on helping Roma to win and then we will see at the end of the season.”
Lukaku rejoined the Blues from Inter Milan in 2021, but could barely last a season before he was shipped out on loan to Inter again, after falling out with then Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel and some of the fans.
