Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov, has predicted nothing other than a win for Manchester City when they host Chelsea this weekend.

Manchester City host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, and Pep Guardiola’s side are in massive form heading into this game.

Berbatov has predicted for Betfair: “On their day, City are a beast and they know exactly what to do.

“Even if a team scores first, City don’t change, they’re strong mentally and they know how to score goals.

“I don’t think City will underestimate Chelsea because they’re not that stupid because they’re fighting and chasing Liverpool.

“City are at home so I think it’ll be a win for them. Prediction 3-1.”

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino is backing Cole Palmer to do well against his former club.

Pochettino has said: “He’s not this type of player who needs to prove anything.

“He’s very grateful for his period at Manchester City and he left the club because he wanted to find another challenge or have the possibility to play more.

“He’s adapted very well and he’s lucky because he’s playing a lot of games here. He’s going to be there trying to play and perform for himself and for his team.”
