Chelsea captain, Reece James has suggested that he might be making a return to Mauricio Pochettino’s side soon, and just in time for the Carabao Cup final with Liverpool.

Reece James has been away for most of the season after sustaining a hamstring issue during the 2-2 draw with the Reds back in August.

The 24-year-old was initially away for two months, but after playing eight matches, he suffered an aggravation on the injury during the 2-0 defeat to Everton last December, and had to undergo a surgery to correct the issue.

James, who has made just a single appearance in the Carabao Cup for Chelsea this term, has been on the sidelines since then, but judging by his latest social media post, the defender might be available to face Liverpool in the final on February 25.

The England international, taking to Instagram account, shared a photo of his feet next to a pair of football boots, as if to suggest that he’s ready to go again.

Of course, nothing is confirmed yet, but fans will be hoping to hear Pochettino share some good news about the right-back at his press conference on Friday.

James has made 156 appearances during his Chelsea career, scoring 11 goals, and assisting a further 21.
