Manchester City host Chelsea this weekend, and City boss, Pep Guardiola has admitted he’s wary of Chelsea’s recent form.

The Blues appear to have turned the corner once again, after bouncing back from consecutive defeats to Liverpool and Wolves, to beat Aston Villa and Crystal Palace 3-1, each.

Guardiola believes there’s renewed spirit and vigour in Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who he also says are now playing with a ‘huge’ personality.

“It’s one game at a time. Now it is Chelsea,” the Spaniard told reporters after Man City’s 3-1 Champions League win against FC Copenhagen on Tuesday night.

“They played really well against Aston Villa and yesterday, in the hotel, we watched the game against Crystal Palace.

“They played with huge personality. Now we recover and focus on Chelsea.”

Meanwhile, Guardiola has also confirmed that Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish are doubts for the upcoming match against the Blues at the Etihad stadium.

Pep Guardiola led his Man City side to a 4-4 draw with Chelsea in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge.

  1. Apuesto que mientras Pep ve nuestros juegos el inútil de Pochetino está haciendo asados, Pochetino debe abandonar lo antes posible, necesitamos un verdadero D.T. con tácticas he inteligencia de juego.
