Enzo Fernandez has admitted he’s happy that he’s now scoring goals, and things are gradually starting to come together for him and Chelsea this season.

The Argentine scored his seventh goal of the season, as Chelsea came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 3-1 on Monday night.

It was Chelsea’s second consecutive win across all competitions, following recent back to back losses to Wolves and Liverpool.

Cole Palmer supplied the pass that led to Enzo’s brilliant goal, and the midfielder has  now told chelseafc.com: “I could see Cole (Palmer) had started to run and there was a lot of space in front of us, so I decided to go with him.

“It was an incredible assist from Cole, a very good pass between the lines, and then I took the time to make sure it was the perfect finish.

“I try to do my best to help my team-mates and the club. Luckily I’m getting the goals, so I’m happy and I want to continue in this way.

“I give my best in every training session and try to be better every day. Things are coming together and that makes me very happy.”

Enzo has for the first time scored goals in back to back games for Chelsea.
