Chelsea and Tottenham to battle for Brazil international winger

Chelsea will battle with Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of Barcelona winger and Brazil international Raphinha when the transfer window opens in the summer, according to Spanish media outlet Sport.

Raphinha’s future at Camp Nou is uncertain as Lamine Yamal has surpassed the Brazilian in the team’s hierarchy.

Despite Raphinha’s desire to stay with Barcelona due to a smooth adaptation to the team and comfort in the city, the financial predicaments of the Catalan club suggest that his departure remains a possibility.

The report adds that Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur would be willing to bid for the Brazil international as soon as he is put on the shop window.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur both tried to sign the Brazilian international from Leeds 18 months ago but he opted to instead to join Barcelona.
