Chelsea midfielder, Romeo Lavia has assured fans his injury problems will soon become a thing of the past.

The 20-year-old has made just one appearance for Chelsea since signing from Southampton last summer.

Lavia picked up a second injury last December after making a quick return from one he sustained earlier in the season, and is now out for a few more weeks.

The Belgian is however confident his best days are on the way.

He posted on social media: “Received a lot of support messages and I wanted to let you know that it means a lot to me.

“I’m gutted not to be able to help the team, but I’m fully focused on coming back.

“The wait will be worth it.”
