Mauricio Pochettino was sent a text message by the owners of Chelsea, following Sunday’s 4-2 beating by Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
This is according to the Argentine, who also said he doesn’t feel under any sort of pressure from his employers, despite intense calls for his sack.
“I received a very good text after the game against Wolves from the owners. We’re all together in this!” Poch said at a press conference on Tuesday, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
“We are all together in this [the hierarchy]. That is the most important. They are in contact with me, every day.
“The fans need to be patient. We need to find a way to succeed.”
Pochettino’s Chelsea hit a new low last weekend, as they slipped down the Premier League table through defeat to Gary O’Neil’s men. They’d also been beaten 4-1 by Liverpool just four days before.
