Mauricio Pochettino sends warning to Chelsea players ahead of Wolves clash

Chelsea face Wolves in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Blues haven’t been defeated on home soil since October. That has resulted in progression to the Carabao Cup final, advancement to the FA Cup fourth round, and six successive league matches without defeat at Stamford Bridge.

That form is, however, in contrast to Chelsea’s results on the road and something head coach Mauricio Pochettino says must change if his side are to progress up the top-flight table in the weeks ahead.

“We need to improve our away form, I can’t say anything different,” Pochettino said.

“We were good away at Burnley, Fulham and Tottenham, then yes [things changed]. We focused on changing the form at Stamford Bridge [which we have done], but while we have played some tough games away from home, we need to improve our performances.”

  1. Chelsea must not lose on Sunday. No excuses for players and coach.
